The mast is on the north side of the Vale of Glamorgan Line railway about a kilometre NW of Llantwit Major railway station. The locked gate gives authorised staff access to the line from Morfa Lane. A British Transport Police notice on the gate states that this Network Rail site is a patrolled area. Trespassers and thieves will be prosecuted.
