The comprehensive dates from the 1950s, to which 'A' block, as it was known in my day, belongs. 'B' block beyond is probably 1960s. In recent decades the school has greatly expanded. Sadly, like many places nowadays, its encircling fences means it resembles a prison camp and it's a pity one can no longer wander around.
