The scaffolding has now been removed from the Old Library Image and the inside of the building has been the subject of a superb restoration – see this link http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?s=fab45e83b237d9880c3e19a5d2edcb96&t=1707836&page=2. The site remains fenced off but this well-weathered gargoyle, now cleaned, is open to public view. See also Image
