This road is used by visitors both on foot and in vehicles. In this direction it is leading to the entrance on Clay Lane, near Coventry Road. The cemetery dates from 1883 with the last extension taking place in 1921. No new graves have been opened since 1962 but cremations still take place in the crematorium.
