The building on the corner of Rodbourne Road and Morris Street was erected in 1904 by the Great Western Railway as a reading room for its Mechanics' Institution. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4402664 In March 2015, a For Sale board is on the Rodbourne Road side of the building.
