The north end of Ayr High Street used to be the busiest part of the town centre but now it's full of empty shops. The one on the right was the original Woolworths, which relocated further along the street, using the former Littlewoods premises in a bid to stay open. Sadly, it didn't work out Image The site has now been cleared for redevelopment - see Image & Image
