The men of Barnby who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1919: Arnold Bailey, George Rufus Baxter, Gordon Wilberforce Baxter, Stanley Walter Baxter, Charles Wilfred Brighton, Clifford Charles Bunn MM, Richard Sidney Jermany, Godfrey Gurney Lee, Samuel Wilson, Thomas Wilson. On a separate slab are the two names of those who died in WW2: Christopher Maurice Baxter, Harry Lee.
