Cheshire Constabulary - Crewe South Neighbourhood

To increase patrols around Alexandra Gardens estate due to increase in ASB and criminal damage.

We attended a community meeting with concerned residents and the local councilor to discuss issues with youths in the area. We have since increased local patrolling and given extra attention to the park. Residents have also been provided local officer contact details.
- 9 Fixed Penalty notices were issued in this area, with the main issue being vehicles parked too close to the junctions, making visibility very poor for vehicles leaving the junctions.

Drug activity.

Officers have conducted operations on Nantwich Road, to tackle drug criminality throughout the year, The operation is called Op Shady and resulted in numerous Stop Searches being completed. As a result in this there were numerous positive actions taken and arrests made. Officers will continue to act on the information and intelligence provided.

Parking issues

Officers and PCSO have completed patrols around CREWE SOUTH tackling the parking issues. This is an ongoing issues within the SOUTH, however numerous tickets and warnings have been given to the individuals regarding their vehicles. Due to this being an ongoing issues, we will continue to patrol the local area and target the parking issues.

Drugs Activity

Police Officers and PCSOs have completed an Operation on Crewe SOUTH whereby we have been tackling drug-related activity across our communities. We have worked alongside specialist teams, including drug detection dog. We believe this is a vital part of our commitment to reduce harm, target criminal activity and maintain visibility.
