A large new Sainsbury's supermarket opened in Penrith in 2013 as the anchor tenant of the Penrith New Squares mixed use, retail led development. The front of the store gives quite an imposing and monolithic impression, which its safe to say is a unique quality for a building to have in the centre of Penrith.
