Set in the middle of a field at the end of a dead end road is this quite charming little church. The church once stood in the parkland of Hutton Bonville Hall, and had a similar history. Most of the building dates from the 16thC & 17thC when the Estate was owned by the ancient and knightly race of Conyers. The Estate was sold after the last of the Conyers squandered their wealth in the 18thC. It finally found its way into the possession of the Arundell-Hildyard family in 1874. After the hall was remodelled and extended in 1880, the attention turned to the church which was virtually rebuilt in 1896.
