This is the former church of St Marks on Kingsholm Road. It was built in 1845-7, with Francis Niblett the architect. For its time until 3rd November 2006 it was an Anglican church, linked to many of the other older parishes of Gloucester. However, it closed and was later reopened in 2008 by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, as well as others. But in 2014 it became the premises of another independent group, the "Destiny Temple", who continue to look to the words of God.
