The hamlet of Hillend lies at the end of Lownie Hill. It contains just about the most dangerous right turn I know anywhere - I can't bring myself to turn right from the B9128 towards Dunnichen and Letham, because it is impossible to see traffic coming from Forfar on the B9128.
