The museum first opened in 1901. This photo shows the 1911 extension. Both parts were designed by Charles Harrison Townsend. It is a Grade II* Listed Building - https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1079996 . Beyond is the extension designed by Allies & Morrison, which opened in 2002.
