A view towards the centre of Mansfield from a public footpath that links Derby Road (A611) - behind the photographer - with High Oakham House (a former farm) at the closed end of High Oakham Drive (the latter, a cul-de-sac, being marked as a "Private Road"). The path behind the photographer is sandwiched between the crematorium and the north-east border of the Shining Cliff Plantation. Here however, it opens out to give views across pastures and woodland that seem to be part of the crematorium and cemetery 'estate'.
