The old New Inn at Bourne, Lincolnshire

The former New Inn is one of the oldest properties in Bourne, a large limestone building in the Spalding Road that dates from the 16th century and was a public house until sixty years ago when it was converted for use as a private residence known as Dawkins House after the man thought to have built it, Thomas Dawkins, a tanner, whose name can be found on a stone plaque within the property which is now Grade II listed.
