The main entrance into the Newark College Campus of Lincoln College (Lincolnshire). It opened in 1931 but, as "The Newark and Sherwood College", it was amalgamated with Lincoln College in 2007. The heart of the town lies behind it, as suggested by the tower and spire of the Parish Church.
