The Post Office Tower, then fairly new, is easily identified. A grey tower in the middle may be the Vickers Building on Millbank. On the right is the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane. The viewpoint is an attic flat, probably servants' quarters originally, in a Well Walk mansion, a stone's throw from Hampstead Heath. Scanned from an Agfacolour slide, ref 65·04·02 (year, film, frame), retouched to remove dirt and cropped from 2:3 to 4:5 to exclude even more high blue sky; no other processing.
