Demolition work under way at the rear of York House is seen here from the side of The House of Fraser shop. The cars in the distance are on Bluecoat Street and sandwiched between them and this solitary pedestrian is the area occupied by the Victoria Bus Station. York House, with its former front entrance on Mansfield Road, has been empty since April 2012. The site is currently being cleared in relation to an expansion of the Victoria Shopping Centre.
