Heracleum mantegazzianum. There is a canal winding hole just south of the New Mills Marina. Any unsuspecting boat crews who get stuck here while trying to turn their boat round need to be aware that these plants are nasty! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heracleum_mantegazzianum
