The bridge carries railway lines over the road, roughly midway between Torquay station to the south (left) and Torre station to the north. The identifier on the side wall of the bridge is "Mill Lane Road 219m 44.5ch TOR" which pinpoints the location as 219 miles 44.5 chains from the zero marker probably in Paddington, London. A triangular sign shows a 12' 6" headroom.
