The Caribbean Hut was a short-lived West Indian-themed takeaway, which sold Jamaican-style meals. It appeared in Milnrow in 2014, taking over the Milnrow Village Chippy. Although beautifully presented and a breath of fresh air in the town, it failed to galvanize the local population who still hungered for a traditional English pie and chip shop. By the start of 2015, it had reverted back to a village chippy.
