The River Chelmer is crossed by a lightweight two span road bridge with a 7.5 T mgw weight restriction. A footbridge has been added on the near side. There was once a ford here, crossing the river in the foreground. The start of eastern approach exists, but the river bank has been steeply reprofiled. On the western side the approach has been built on.
