3-storey Kendal Road hotel in a prominent position overlooking Windermere from a hilltop, viewed across the A592 Promenade. Built as an Italianate style mansion in the early 19th century. Grade II listed in 1973. The hotel's website states that there are 62 guest bedrooms, including 25 Lake View bedrooms and 12 Garden View bedrooms.
