St Aidan's Mission Church, Fourstones

Built in 1892 by the incumbent vicar, Rev. George Cruddas, at his own expense, as a mission church. Still referred to locally as 'The Mission' as well as St Aidan's. It is a small wooden church on a stone foundation.
