Across Queen's Gate and with the Natural History Museum behind the photographer's right shoulder, the building ahead is Baden-Powell House. It was opened in 1961 and is now a modern 180 room budget hostel that welcomes both Scouts and Guide and members of the general public too. It can also provide conference facilities.
