Viewed in December 2014, shortly after the completion of restoration work to the Celtic Cross War Memorial erected in 1921. A local paper reported in December 2013 that the Penallt War Memorial Fund had received £3,700 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help pay for the restoration.
