The Aberdeen - Manchester Victoria express is headed by Rebuilt Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 No. 46118 'Royal Welch Fusilier' (built 11/27, rebuilt 12/46, withdrawn 6/64). This was a Summer Saturday, with similar expresses passing every few minutes.
