The white railings are all that remains of steps down to a sandy beach. Stones were placed all along the beach to prevent flooding to beachside properties, but now those properties have been replaced. A pub and cafe stood where this new residential property has been constructed. The white building behind was once an antiques/junk shop but now is for residential use only.
