This is a corner which has seen many changes recently. The former Peugeot dealer's showroom has been replaced by a Co-operative Foodstore. All the houses on the right are new, many built on an old industrial site. What the occupants did not expect was that nearly 10 years after some of these houses were built they would still be "overlooked", in grand style, by the old Maltings.
