There has been a mill recorded here since Domesday. This one is obviously more modern and was I believe part of the Robirch sausage and pie works before conversion to flats. Water still flows underneath and one book (dated 1977) refers to a turbine being bricked up inside. There is a modern 60 kW microhydropower plant alongside beside Evesham Lock.
