Melksham Town Hall

The hall is on the site of an old orchard that was bought from the owners of Place House. The shareholders of The Melksham Market Company (1847) built this wonderful hall as a cheesemarket. After many years use it was bought by Melksham Urban District Council for conducting the town's administrative affairs in 1962. But from 2012 it is now a community asset, available for all sorts of gatherings and celebrations.
