The pylons to the right are in Mallusk quarry, not visible on the other side of the hedge. They appear to support fine mesh netting like a sort of mosquito net although this is bare visible in the photo. My guess is that the netting is there to keep birds clear of the quarry machinery. Anybody with more knowledge of this? Near Mallusk.
