The flank of the old Ambassador/Odeon cinema now has a striking mural of various animals, like some sort of ark. It began in 1936 as a cinema on the old clay pits of the Winterstoke Road area, but converted to the Top Rank bingo hall in 1961. That closed, changing briefly into a children's playground and is now an indoor climbing centre. See Image] for a title.
