From the edge of Pittville Circus, shown in Image, looking towards the much smaller roundabout where Wellington Road meets the B4632 Prestbury Road. Most of the visible buildings are listed, such as Sligo House, the villa left of centre http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1387603&searchtype=mapsearch . "Built by Edward Cope, a leading local builder and speculator who was responsible for laying out the area around Pittville Circus, it was sold in March 1847 to John Bird of the East India Company".
