A view past the Blackfriars Arts Centre on the south side of Spain Lane towards Quaker Lane. These were formerly the refectory buildings of a Dominican Friary and they are the only remaining buildings in Boston that belonged to the Black Friars. The Friary was established some time during the second half of the C13th. However, this building was heavily restored and altered 1963. The front of a parked car marks Spain Court, a Grade II-listed cul-de-sac of early C19th terraced houses.
