This is the entrance to the Drax power station nature trail and the visitor centre marked on the map. It is only open on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons, and it clearly had no intention of opening today - It said it would be open again in spring 2007. Peering through the gate I saw a couple of derelict military vehicles and a small herd of black piglets running free (see supplemental). I shall return one day to try again
