Former pub which closed in 2008, its openings now sealed with metal shutters. It has historic pedigree - an inn has been on the site since C16th, and the name goes back to the early C18th. Despite the present building dating at least in parts from the early C19th it is not listed, and only local opposition persuaded McDonald's, which bought the site in 2012, not to demolish it.
