Although the full width of the old canal property on the left appears intact here, it is so overgrown that any attempt to photograph it would be pointless, at least with summer foliage and vegetation. The towpath was apparently on the other side. Behind the camera, the road crossed over the canal via 'Uffington Arch', of which no trace remains.
