Wye House Gardens is a fairly recent development of retirement properties for pensioners with deep pockets. Expect to pay either side of £400,000 when the next one comes on the market. There are 19 flats and houses in all including those in a converted Georgian house fronting Barn Street. The properties are numbered 1 to 20. There is no number 13. Ownership of black cats and ladders is prohibited. The garden itself is public and owned by Marlborough Town Council.
