Beneath the restaurant, on the site off Homer Road formerly occupied by Image, is the Church Hill car park and above it looms the Cineworld cinema, blotting out the spire of St Alphege's Church. A lot has changed over the 52 years since the earlier photograph but the tree on the right seems to have survived.
