Clapton Mill

Built on the site of a 12th Century mill, Clapton Mill was rebuilt in 1864 and is a Grade II Listed Building. It was a working mill (Lockyer and Son) that latterly manufactured animal feeds until 1991 powered by a 21 foot waterwheel. It now has some new machinery and generates green energy.
