Doune Knoll is the site of an ancient earthwork and remains as an open space on the south side of Girvan. It's an excellent viewpoint. This view looks to the north, showing the back of Girvan Primary School, the new hospital's wind turbine and the factories at Grangestone Industrial Estate.
