An early 19th century pub called the Wheatsheaf Inn until it changed about a decade ago to Baloos. Not sure why the name was chosen as it has no local con nations unless of course the menu comes with prickly pears, ants and other bare necessities. Located on the B2116 which still retains the pub's old name at the northern end of the parish of Woodmancote. The area between Henfield and the A23 is currently being threatened by a private development of a new garden town the size of Burgess Hill.
