Morley Farm as an entity is quite ancient with the manor mentioned in the Domesday Book. The original estate included both Morley and Park Farms but had split by the 19th century. The farmhouse dates from the 17th century and was encased in brick during the 19th. All of the land between the A23 and Henfield is currently threatened with a proposed development to build a new garden town the size of Burgess Hill.
