This is the main building of Moreton Hall School. It was built in the early 17C. Note that there is no public access to the school without permission; I was on an orchestral weekend. If you are an art-lover, ask for permission to see the paintings by Denise Elizabeth Bates in the dining hall. These are two paintings each 69 feet by 4 feet high up on the walls of the hall. They illustrate proverbs, town on one side and country on the other. They are full of fascinating detail.
