Opened in 1864 on the Llynvi & Ogmore Railway's line from Pyle to Cymmer, there was a junction here for Bridgend and the Ogmore Valley. The station closed in 1970. View south west at the disused platforms, towards Kenfig Hill and Pyle. The Bridgend-Maesteg line was reopened to passengers in 1992, the platform for that being just out of sight to the left.
