The accident and emergency services at Withybush Hospital are the furthest west and are highly valued for providing medical aid close at hand to users of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the oil industry and sea-goers, among others. The possibility that they may be moved out of Pembrokeshire has caused dismay and anger in West Wales. Helicopters rescues on the coast or off the water are not uncommon here.
