From a little used path west of the ever popular Porth yr Ogof, a view over the richly wooded slopes of the valley towards distant Pen y Fan and Corn Du. The grey rocky scarps in the distance are formed by Twrch Sandstone (a.k.a. popularly 'Millstone Grit'), those of the central Beacons are of course Old Red Sandstone.
