3 competitors in the mens' 3000 metres steeplechase tackle the water jump. They are the 3 Kenyan athletes who led from an early stage to win all 3 medals, Jarius Birech in the lead here, who finished 2nd to gain the Silver medal, Jonathan Ndiku who won the Gold medal and Ezekiel kemboi Cheboi who won bronze. Matt Hughes of Canada is approaching the jump and finished 4th, and James Wilkinson of England is just passing the pole vault area and finished 5th. Seen from the upper tier of the stand, section Q
