I considered extending my walk down this path, as it crosses the old railway and would have allowed me to bag a couple of extra grid squares. However, it was hot and my throat was very dry and I worked out that if I walked directly into Ross the pubs would just be opening when I got there and I'd be able to get myself a pint of cold lager. Balls Farm is on the left in the background.
